Use the Court Layout section to create the base slide layout for your design. Click either "Half Court" or "Full Court" to insert a new slide directly after your current slide that contains a to-scale image of the court layout you selected along with a title box and a text box for you to add your play title and associated notes.HINT: The slide background, title box and text box are integrated with your selected theme. To adjust the color, size, font, or other formatting we recommend using the "Edit Theme" or "Change Theme" options.
Click player icons to insert offense and defense into your diagrams, then select and drag them to a desired location.HINT: When selecting player icons be sure to select the object not the text. If you see a blinking cursor in a selected object you won't be able to drag it.
Quickly indicate possession of the ball in your diagrams.Give Ball: Select an existing player icon on the court, then click 'Give Ball' to add a circle to any player to indicate ball possession.Take Ball: Click 'Take Ball' to remove the possession indicator from any player.
Draw a cut, pass, or dribble action by clicking either the "Straight" or "Curved" button for your desired action. Then drag the start and end point to your desired location. For curved lines, after placing the start and end point, drag the handle (yellow diamond near the mid-point of the line) to adjust the path of the curve.Action lines are represented as follows:Cut = solid line with a filled arrow end (color is black by default)Pass = dashed line with an open arrow end (color is blue by default)Dribble = dotted line with a filled arrow end (color is burnt orange by default)HINT: Attach the start point to a player token by dragging it to a purple handle that appears when you are dragging a line near a player.
Screen actions require a 2-step process to draw.Click 'Straight' or 'Curved' to insert the base line. Drag the start and end points to show the path of the screen. Make sure the screen line you just added is selected, then click '+ T Bar' to automatically add the perpendicular bar at the end of the line and replace the diamond end.NOTE: The diamond shaped end point is used to show the location where the screen will be set.
Use the "Link Actions" feature to build complex movements by seamlessly linking basic actions together. Linking actions is a two-step process.Click on an existing action line to select it.Click '+ Add Straight' or '+ Add Curve' to attach a new segment exactly where the last one ended. The new segment inherits the style, weight, and color of the line selected in step 1.Repeat as many times as needed to display your movement.NOTE: Be sure to only manipulate the end point of each new segment so that you don't break the link.
